Bret Larson Hendricks
Bret first worked for Hendricks Sports Management on arbitration and collusion cases in the 90's and has worked for the firm in various capacities over the years. He joined the firm full time as counsel and as a player representative providing service to HSM clients in 2005.
Bret was Texas state debate champion and a recognized top national debater in high school at The Kinkaid School in Houston. He received his law degree from the University of Houston, where he won several awards both within the school and nationally for his advocacy and litigation skills in mediation, appellate brief writing and appellate argument. His success earned him admission to the Order of the Barristers, a distinction reserved for the top advocates in law school.
Bret previously worked as a defense attorney in civil litigation in Houston. He is admitted to practice in both state and federal court as well as before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Bret graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
He also received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Houston.
A seventh-generation Texan, Bret was born and raised in the Houston area. He has lived on both the East and West coasts. His wife, Rebecca, is a commercial litigation attorney in Houston.
